Kathleen V. Shoemaker

Kathleen has more than 12 years experience as a bankruptcy attorney, including six years as a Staff Attorney for David Howe, the Chapter 13 Trustee in Tacoma.  She started her career as a bankruptcy attorney employed by James Dart from 1995-2001.  From there, she worked for two years as a bankruptcy attorney for Gloria Nagler's Seattle law firm.  Kathleen decided to pursue a career in bankruptcy law while a student at Seattle University School of Law and she clerked for a semester during law school for the Office of the United States Trustee in Seattle.  She is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) and National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees (NACTT).  She is available to meet clients in our Tacoma office.
 

James F. Dart

Jim has more than 23 years experience as a bankruptcy attorney representing small business and consumer debtors.  Early in his legal career, Jim interned for the Honorable Robert Skidmore, United States Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Washington.  He has been a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) since 1992.  Jim has served as a District Representative to the Creditor-Debtor Section of the Washington State Bar Association.  He is available to meet clients in our Tacoma office and is also available to meet with clients in Olympia.
